All our designs are completed with the thought of the user in mind.
If we are constructing a children's play area, then safety is paramount.
Where children are involved, nothing can be too safe.
Types of flooring, balcony heights, possibly even if there should really be a balcony at all.!
Safety railings, ground type, accessories and many other points must and will be considered.
Materials for our buildings are top quality.
Playground accessories are sourced only from companies that supply equipment that will conform to the British playground safety standards to BS EN1176.
For instance, our rope and jungle bridges are supported by 2 runs of large ship anchor chain, bolted to each individual cross plank.
Under these flooring planks you will find a 4 further galvanised safety lines, anchored separately to the chains.
This ensures maximum support and safety at all times.
All Enchanted Forest designs are built with a large safety margin.
Children and unattended water are a combination that should never be mixed.
If a commission is to be undertaken where a pond or lake would be near a child's play area, firstly we would highly recommend that its not!

If the installation is still to continue, then only after agreed safety measures would the build commence.
We would insist as part of the initial design, on safety fencing and impact cushioning on the ground where required.
Any aerial activity such as rope ladders, zip slides, and treehouse access would have a soft ground area designed around and underneath it.
This may take the form of wood chipping's, rubber fall mats or special commercially available impact matting.
Hideaways, treehouses and play areas are often hidden away at the end of the garden, so see our extras web page for further information on remote activity monitoring.
