These can be small, ornate ponds or fountains, leading right up to large multiple level lakes, linked with streams.

The installation itself is usually very dependant on the proposed site and level of proposed expense.

You may decide to keep fish, which will then require suitable filtration and ultra-violet cleaning equipment.

A running stream is one of the most relaxing sounds you can hear in a garden.

Linking ponds to streams gives the look that the water is either going somewhere or equally coming from somewhere.

Waterfalls are another wonderful sight, and can really make a landscaped garden come to life.

These waterfalls can be small level changes along a winding stream, or a huge rush of white water over a large rock overhang.

All the pipes and pump systems will be installed out of view, with facilities to empty the water and change filter etc.
